Terms of Use
Version 2026-11 · In force since Oct. 16, 2026
What offrivals is
offrivals is the referee and the ledger of the challenges you set with your friends. It is never a party to them, and it never receives, holds or moves the money that goes between participants.
Whoever misses the goal pays whoever made it. Who owes what is settled every cycle, and the record of it does not change afterwards.
You accept these terms when you create your account.
Settling up
Settling up happens between the participants, outside the app. offrivals does not collect, guarantee or enforce any payment or forfeit between them.
A forfeit has to be legal and safe for everyone.
What you send
You answer for what you send, like proofs and comments. We can remove content and suspend an account that breaks these terms.
How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.
Who can play
You need to be 18 or older to play.
Free and Champion
There are two plans. On Free, you have 1 active challenge of your own at a time and join up to 3 of other people's. On Champion, up to 10 of your own, and you join as many as you like. On both, a challenge holds up to 8 people.
Champion is a subscription to the app, and the only thing offrivals charges for. The charge never depends on how a challenge ends and never touches the money between participants.
Price and payment
Before you pay, you see the plan, the price and how often it is charged. The price is in the currency of your country: reais in Brazil, euros in Spain, Mexican pesos in Mexico and US dollars anywhere else.
That price is the total you pay, and nothing is added to it at checkout. In Spain it already includes 21% VAT, and in Mexico 16% VAT, each shown on its own line at checkout and on the receipt.
If you change country, the subscription you have keeps its price and currency. The new country counts for your next subscription.
You pay by card, on a payment page run by Stripe, which processes the payment. We never see or store your card number. A card issued in Brazil only pays in reais.
When you subscribe, we email you a confirmation with the plan, the price and the date of the next charge. Every charge comes with a receipt by e-mail.
Free trial
The free trial lasts 14 days and needs a card. When it ends, the card is charged the price of the plan you picked, and Champion renews from then on. We email you 7 days before that first charge, with the date and the amount. Cancel before that date and nothing is charged.
A pass from a friend gives 7 days of Champion, and an affiliate's link gives 14 days, both without a card. They end on their own, with no charge. Each person gets one trial, of whatever kind.
Renewal and cancellation
Champion renews by itself at the end of each period, every week, month or year depending on your plan, and the card is charged again until you cancel. Before each renewal, we email you the date, the amount and a link to cancel: 5 days before on the weekly plan, 15 days before on the monthly plan and 30 days before on the annual plan.
You can cancel anytime, in two taps, in the Champion section of your Profile. Champion stays on until the end of the period you paid, and nothing else is charged.
Cancelling stops the next charges, but it does not refund the period already paid. To get your money back, withdraw within the 14 days explained below.
In the same place, you can switch between the weekly, monthly and annual plans. The part of the current period you haven't used counts toward the new plan.
Withdrawal and refunds
During the trial with a card, and for 14 days after the first charge, you can withdraw from Champion with the “Withdraw from the contract here” button in the Champion section of your Profile. No reason is asked.
Your subscription ends right away, and every charge since the first one goes back in full to the card you paid with. On the weekly plan, that can be two charges. Withdrawing during the trial ends it with no charge.
Champion ends with the subscription, unless you still have free days from passes or an affiliate's link running on their own. Then it lasts until they end, and the confirmation screen shows the date.
We email you a receipt with the date, the time and the amount refunded. The refund can take a few days to show on your card statement.
Failed payment
If a charge fails, the card is tried again, and we let you know by e-mail and in the app so you can update it. You keep Champion for up to 7 days. If the payment still doesn't go through, you go back to Free.
Price changes
If the price of Champion changes, we let you know by e-mail and in the app at least 30 days before the first charge at the new price, with the current price, the new one and the date.
The new price only applies if you accept it, in the Champion section of your Profile. If you don't accept it by that date, your subscription ends at the end of the period you paid, with no charge at the new price. A charge at the new price without your acceptance is refunded in full. The price of your subscription never changes any other way.
When Champion ends
None of this ends a challenge: every challenge you are in runs to the end with the rules it had. On Free, you just can't start or join more than Free allows.
Deleting your account ends Champion right away, with no further charge and no refund of the period already paid. If you are still within the 14 days to withdraw, withdraw first.
Questions or complaints about a charge go to [email protected].
Changes and law
We let you know when these terms change, and the version and the date at the top change with them.
If a change affects your Champion subscription, we let you know before it applies, and you can cancel before then at no cost.
These terms follow Brazilian law, without taking away the rights the consumer law of your country gives you. Any dispute goes to the courts where you live.
